One thing that annoys me, as a buyer, is seller's saying "LOW MILES" and then it having 130k on the odometer. That is not low mileage regardless of age. Well, for a semi, maybe. This is my opinion, so don't take offense. $8k is a lot for a 20 year old car with 130k miles on it. Sure the upgrades are nice, but a short shifter and radiator aren't going to add value. When you factor in the fact that the cars book value is much less, it means people can't get financing for them. Now we know that book value isn't an accurate representation of specialty cars, but the availability of financing is a large determinant in what people are willing to pay. Yes these cars are becoming cheaper, which means lower and lower income people can afford them. It just comes with the territory.
